Drs. Raber and Schrock share a professional interest in vision as it relates to learning. Both have pursued post-doctoral training in developmental optometry. They provide testing and therapy services to individuals with vision disorders that interfere with reading and learning at the Cornerstone Vision Development Center. Cornerstone is conveniently located in the lower level of The Alpine Center. Visit www.CornerstoneVDC.com for more information.
We recently put together a short video clip showing a little of what we do in our dedicated vision therapy center. It is exciting to see our patients become comfortable readers, over-coming their vision problems that prevented them from achieving their potential.
Friendly and Professional
Our friendly, professional staff will be glad to assist you with all your eye care needs. We want you to look and feel your best! Our optical department is stocked with hundreds of women’s, men’s and children’s frames. A licensed optician and trained staff members will assist you in making good choices that complement your appearance and give you clear, comfortable vision.
Warm and Welcoming
Patients often comment that our reception area is much more comfortable than a typical, sterile medical office. Haitian-inspired decor and warm colors make the office a cheerful place. The natural lighting provided by our large, sunny windows is especially helpful when selecting new eyeware.
Our new facility is ADA-compliant, with easy parking and wheelchair access. We are well equipped to serve patients with limited mobility or special needs.
We use the latest technological advances in the eye care field to provide you with better care. For example, we can test for glaucoma with the Heidelberg Retinal Tomograph, which generates a 3-D map of the back of the eye.
We value your time. We schedule appointments that allow for comprehensive, unhurried eye examinations. On-time appointments are our goal. We make it our business to stay on schedule; however, please note that we do accommodate eye emergencies and patients with special considerations.
